AN OPEN DOOR
TO CREATIVELY Classic LIVING

Here, what’s old becomes new again. And what’s new becomes something destined to be loved for decades. Guided by a joie de vivre spirit, our work honors a home’s storied past while creating spaces that feel fresh, functional, and full of personality.

ABOUT US

Our studio's namesake is an homage to New Orleans architecture, where founder Lindsay Boudreaux hails.

The “shotgun double” – two distinct homes sharing one roof – is a fitting metaphor for everything we value: equal parts hospitality and creative leadership, architectural integrity and design innovation, sophistication and character, structure and fun. This duality is peppered throughout all that we do.

Our Difference - at a glance

• History

Ours informs our expertise. Yours informs our design. How you live, what you love – it matters to us. We respect the original details, gathering a deep understanding of what came before so we can direct where we’re going with intention and intelligence. This is how we make the next chapter a special one.

• Curiosity

We’re energized by design challenges – the tricky layouts and wrestling with outdated quirks. But we’re equally interested in you, our team, and our creative partners. This openness to learning and listening creates collaborative relationships built on trust and respect.

• Hospitality

Home projects should be filled with excitement, not a stress-fest. We guide you through every decision with Southern warmth and genuine care. You’ll always know what’s happening, when it’s happening, and that we’re thinking five steps ahead so you don’t have to. Enjoy it!

MEET THE FOUNDER

Lindsay Boudreaux

Some designers stumble into the profession. Lindsay Boudreaux was practically born into it – raised among the moss-draped oaks and grand historic setting of New Orleans, where every street corner is a sensory masterclass in respecting what came before while creating for the future.

After moving to DC in the early 2000s, she earned her NCIDQ certification while designing hospitality spaces for renowned architecture firms, including The Dupont Circle Hotel and The Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel. By 2009, Lindsay was ready to build something of her own.
