Consultations
For every design project, large or small, we need to begin at the beginning! A design consultation with Shotgun Double can be used in many ways - it can be our first introduction to you and the complexities of the full-service project you are hoping to undertake, or it can be a ‘stand-alone’ service where we perform ‘designer triage’ for your ‘design emergency'. :o)
In both scenarios, this is a “no-strings-attached” meeting, so you are not obliged to hire us for for further services (nor are we obliged to take on the work if we feel the fit isn’t best.) For residential projects, the designer-client working relationship is an intimate one, and we treat this initial meeting as a ‘first date’ to ensure that we are a match made in heaven.
When using our consultation as a stand-alone service, there are a number of ways in which we can help you - here are just a few!
-Review of architectural plans for design-build or renovation projects.
-Home edit/ refresh by “shopping” your home’s existing furnishings.
-Space planning and furniture placement.
-Advice on material selections, lighting, art placement, etc.
